Jordan Weir is a senior software engineer with deep experience building and scaling complex systems at AI‑driven and high‑growth tech companies. Currently at Spellbook, he works at the intersection of large language models, TypeScript, and cloud infrastructure, contributing to products that bring AI into real legal workflows. Before Spellbook, he led engineering efforts at Riskfuel, where he helped turn slow quantitative finance and insurance models into lightning-fast neural network replicas, designing internal tooling architectures, evolving sophisticated data generation pipelines, and coaching developers on Kubernetes, Python performance, microservices, and concurrency patterns.

Earlier in his career, Jordan spent several years at Klick, moving from frontend developer to senior web developer and technical lead. There, he led .NET website builds end‑to‑end, created interactive sales tools on Veeva/Salesforce, architected a pattern library ecosystem that streamlined delivery across design and development, and became a go‑to person for modern JavaScript practices and analytics via Google Tag Manager. He also brings long-standing experience as a freelance web developer and a strong theoretical grounding in software, machine learning, and architecture, reflected in both his education at the University of Toronto and his ongoing study of topics like domain-driven design, deep learning, and system design.
